Thanks to reader Aaron Wilberding for sending this in:

Much of the camera-side seats for SmackDown! are empty and most of the upper deck is tarped off except for the ones the camera is facing. I was at Raw here in April and every seat in the joint was sold out.

Anyhow, on to the results.
Dark match
Gymini w/Angel def. Funaki and Scotty 2 Hotty
I had seen Angel was debuting before heading to the show and I must say, she is smokin'. Gymin dominated and Scotty didn't even get the worm off.

ECW starts
Tazz comes out to a pretty big pop from the Milwaukee crowd.
ECW starts with Paul Heyman addressing the crowd on the video screen regard RVD winning the ladder match to get a shot at the ECW title at December to Dismember. He then breaks us the news that he will have to compete against four other guys, plus Big Show in an "Extreme Elimination Chamber" match at the PPV.

**Keep an eye on the Gorila they show throughout the show behind Tazz and Cole, he will come into play later.

That leads us into the first match of the night, a qualifying match for the EEC.
Sabu def. Kevin Thorn in rather quick fashion. Nothing spectacular, but Sabu got the job done.

Davari with The Great Kahli def. Shannon Moore
It wasn't really clear if Kahli was fighting this one or note since he and Moore had a stare down before the match. The usual antics. Kahli is huge by the way.

Diva Costume Contest
Trinity wins over Ariel and Kelly Kelly
Aren't the ladies called "Vixens" on ECW? Anyway, Trinity won due to her "Danger" tape for a top and damn was that gorgeous.

Ariel who came out with Thorn for his match earlier wore the same outfit and Kelly Kelly had the CM Punk Pepsi tattoo her arm. That made Mike Knox come out after the contest and Punk saved the day to a big pop from the crowd.

Main Event
Test and Big Show def. Hardocore Holly and RVD
Things look to be going RVD's way after he hits Rolling Thunder, but then said gorilla from earlier in the show hops over the ramp and nails Holly with a night stick after the ref had been knocked down.

Show then goes for a chokeslam and gets the win and the gorilla takes off his mask to reveal that it is Heymann. They taunt RVD and head out.

WTF, Khali is now in ECW. And he's a face to probably? How can that be? lol.

Kahli is back? I hope he stays on ECW.
It will be interresting if they try and use him as a face :smt006
I guess that the Sandman should be one of the guys in the EEC at DTD..

ECW seems a little empty this week

ECW SPOILERS 10/31/06

Watching ECW this week, I was a little disappointed. I mean, against my better judgement, I'm becoming quite a Kevin Thorne fan. And as much as I love Sabu, I HATED seeing Thorne tap out. He's a freakin' vampire for heaven's sake! I thought he would be portrayed as more of a monster...and here he is, tapping out. :smt015 It made me sad.

Of course, the BIGGEST (literally) disappointment of the night was seeing Khali. I actually groaned when I saw him come out. I didn't even know I could groan! :smt013 Thankfully, he wasn't in a match (I think...). But yeah, why is he back? If he didn't have any talent on SD!, why switch him to ECW?

I guess I should just be thankful that he's not anywhere near 'Taker anymore. :smt007

ECW SPOILERS 10/31/06

No. No no no no nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would they do that... why would anybody, ANYBODY keep Khali in the WWE, let alone put him in ECW. The brand that is in DESPERATE need of more talent. If anything WWE should have sold him over to TNA. He'd actually be one of the most talented over there.

Ah well, at least Sabu is the Elimination Chamber (which I am looking forward to downloading sometime in January/February after it is plastered out over the internet. I love having internet downloading...) Too bad his qualification came at the highly unfortunate price of Kevin Thorn, who I was actually interested in seeing what he was going to do with his whole vampire gimmick. Then again, having Kevin Thorn out of the Elimination Chamber isn't horrible, there is hope in seeing him in a worthwhile match preceding the Elimination Chamber.

This is more a topic for the December to Dismember thread, but I have the time and motivation to type it now, so bear with me.

Alright, people are skeptical of what this PPV will be like because of the limited time and roster of ECW. However, I think December to Dismember also has potential to be great. A few people (CM Punk, RVD, Sabu, and others) are quite talented and could have some amazing matches if they didn't have to crunch it all into a single hour every week. If the PPV is three hours long, GREAT! This way, we might get to see some good twenty-thirty minute matches (outside the Elimination Chamber, which is hopefully going to be long and bloody) Personally, I am hoping that CM Punk is out of the Elimination Chamber. I think they should give him the belt at Wrestlemania (since it will be ECW's first) and give him a nice long, kick-@$$ match against Kevin Thorn at December to Dismember. Hopefully leading into what could be an awesome rivalry between the two.

And that is all I have to say.

TNA have arguably the best wrestler in the world today. You may have heard of him. Kurt Angle? That kind of blows the theory about TNA having no talent. The truth is both companies have a hell of a lot of it, they're just not being used correctly, and I direct that more towards WWE.

Aruably the best yes, but for how long they have him depends how many pain killers he can choke down.

Based on reports Kurt isn't taking pain killers anymore. Even towards the end of his WWE tenure it was reported he was off them and getting his life sorted out. If we're to believe Kurt, he's in good health and his doctors have cleared him to wrestle. I want to believe that, but I realise so many reports have said otherwise. I'd like to think Dixie Carter wouldn't go near him if he truly is broken down though. But then again when you get an opportunity to sign Kurt Angle, would TNA even care.

If Kurt really is fooling everyone, including himself, well then that's sad. But there's nothing we can do as fans, he's going to wrestle regardless of what anyone says. Sit back and enjoy the man while you can.
