The offical poster for SummerSlam 2011

Despite some rumours that the Undertaker might be returning at SummerSlam, I wouldn't expect him to show up.

I hate that poster, almost as much as I hate Orton's beard... I agree with you Luke, I doubt we see Taker return at Summerslam.

Horrible poster, but Randy's expression makes me laugh hehe. The poster doesn't make sense to me.

Randy looks like he's trying to pinch a grumpy, as does Miz... That beard on Randy's gotta go though. He looks so damn stupid with it. Can anyone figure out what the hell R-Truth's doing in the background?

First of all, they've done an amazing job of hyping John Cena vs. CM Punk and building SummerSlam around the Undisputed WWE Championship. However, considering this is "The Biggest Event of the Summer" and WWE's second biggest PPV of the year next to WrestleMania, I'm a tad surprised that we're only being offered four confirmed matches for the card. I know there will be other matches, but without them already being announced or built-up, with only 5 days to go until the PPV, they could seem a bit throw-away.

I'm surprised matches on Raw this week, like John Morrison vs. R-Truth and Alex Riley vs. Dolph Ziggler weren't saved for SummerSlam. Also, I thought they may have done a bit more to build Wade Barrett vs. Daniel Bryan on SmackDown. I have a feeling we may get to see some of these matches, as well as Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz, bearing in mind Miz's attack on Rey on Raw. It would certainly be a bit bizarre to leave Mysterio and Miz off the card.

Back to the WWE Championship main event, briefly, I can't help but think that Triple H's promise that we'll definitely end up with one Undisputed WWE Champion at the close of SummerSlam doesn't actually refer to either John Cena or CM Punk, but that whoever wins that match will lose it the same night to none other than Alberto Del Rio as he cashes in his Money in the Bank. Now, that may very well be what they want us to speculate, but it would certainly be a very fitting and dramatic upset to end the PPV. Whether that does or doesn't happen, as for who goes over as Undisputed Champion out of Punk and Cena....hmm....I'm gonna say Punk.

I think you're right on Del Rio cashing in at the end of Summerslam... I hope Punk comes out on top against Cena... I'm not gonna go into Cena-Bashing mode, but with Punk's current push, WWE feels a lot fresher, and more exciting, solely because Punk brings an element that's been missing for quite a while... Cena's just stale to me, and I'd like to see something new from him... I also believe we'll see Triple H, and John Laurinitis get involved in the Main Event... This might lead to Triple H turning into a heel COO...

I like this build up to finding out who the undisputed WWE Champ will be. It's well done... WWE might have learned from the terrible build angle they used for Capitol Punishment...

Mysterio's legitimately hurt. He re-injured his knee at a house show last Friday... I hope they don't leave Miz off the card, although it would seem he's gone the way of Barrett, and Sheamus, and is getting buried...

All in all, I'm liking this build up, now I just hope the PPV itself delivers, unlike Wrestlemania did earlier this year, which also featured an excellent buildup...

That's my and many others' problem with Cena - he doesn't really have much of a persona as such, okay, so no big deal, but what he does in the ring is just stale and has been for a long time. I used to be a big Cena fan, I was very anti-criticism. A bit like yourself, I'm not in to Cena-bashing, it's not entirely his fault, but one can't help wonder why, after almost 10 years, 7 of which haave been at the top of the game in WWE, he hasn't tried to exert some sort of creative change. It's almost like he's content with being stale because it's what the company wants - fair enough, some might say, he wants to do what WWE management think is best and keep his position.

I can't decide whether I want Triple H to be a heel COO or not, at this stage, I quite like his current impartialness. What do others think?

Ah, I didn't know Mysterio was hurt, perhaps we won't see him at SummerSlam then following the "attack" on Raw. That poor guy seriously needs some time off. Isn't he still well overdue some knee surgery or something?

I think Rey's way overdo for surgery. I remember reading an interview, written before Wrestlemania, where Rey said he was gonna take 6 months off because he needed knee surgery. I don't know why he keeps putting it off... I've also read that he's snapped his ACL in that knee about a year after he has the surgery to fix it. He'd be on his 5th surgery now on it??? If that's correct. I just hope it doesn't leave Miz off the card.

I like Triple H's COO character being impartial too. I still think with Punk playing the "loner, anti-hero" that doesn't listen to the Corporate top dog, and that fans can latch onto, that Triple H turns heel, since WWE Creative will move him into a Mr.McMahon type role... I'm hopefully wrong, and John Laurinitis takes that role on instead, since he's not well liked, and he seems kind of slow. He'd be the perfect skapegoat heel in the storylines.

I used to hate Cena, and bash him back in 2004, and 2005, when it was actually fashionable to do it... Then I saw him improve quite a bit. I also saw how quickly he'd return from injury, so I had to give him his props for his dedication, hard work, and respect for the business. I'd like to see him change his character creatively some. Maybe he feels he's in the perfect spot, and he has his core fans that he'll never win over the more mature crowd... I don't know. I just feel his gimmick's stale, and it could use some kind of change.

Well, there we have it, prediction correct, CM Punk becomes Undisputed WWE Champion only to be defeated by Alberto Del Rio cashing in his Money in the Bank.

However....Kevin Nash?! What the hell?!
