TLC 2010

Well, the final PPV of the year is nearly upon us (Seriously, where did the time go?). Presenting the promotional poster for Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2010:

The poster looks pretty good, IMO. I guess it could use a little more effort but this isn't entirely terrible either. Anyhow, speculate and discuss! You know you want to :smt002

I like the poster. I think by this PPV, Barrett will be defending the Title against Orton. I see Orton dropping it at Survivor Series. I also think this will be the PPV that Kane drops the World Title to Edge.

I also can see the Miz cashing in the MITB Briefcase(Famous last prediction, although if I predict it a million times, I might finally get it right.), and possibly be the first loser to cash in the case. If that happens, Miz'll get his shot the next month at the Rumble.

You know I think one thing that could be a pretty sweet main event is a TLC between Kane and Edge, no matter who wins at Survivor Series. I also wondered if maybe they'd somehow add Del Rio and Mysterio to the Title picture and that could work well, but I think the Kane Edge feud would benefit most from still being a one on one rivalry.

One thing that is sort of funny is that Kane has a lot of history in ladder matches. Not as much as Edge, but more than the average fan might think as a first glace.

He's actually been in more Money in the Bank matches than Edge and has won just as many.

Plus, unlike Edge (who's lost two of them), Kane actually is undefeated in TLC matches. :smt005

Because what happen to John Cena I see a ladder match between him and Wade Barrett with a WWE Contract as the prize and John must get it to return to the WWE.

I'm pretty happy that Miz retained, and that WWE's gonna let him hold onto the Title for a while. A lot of the spoiler sites had Miz dropping the belt after a month. WWE's best move, aside from giving Barrett a huge push, and creating Nexus, is giving Miz his chance to Main Event. I was also surprised Morrison was given the nod over Sheamus. I'm pretty sure that Sheamus' current spot is reserved for a feud with a returning HHH in the next few weeks. I'm also surprised they didn't pull the trigger on Mr. Ziggles dropping the I-C Belt. He's had it for quite a while now. Maybe we'll see a yearlong I-C Title run for Ziggler??? We'll see. The PPV was actually quite good.

A couple of things I could've done without but otherwise a solid PPV to close out the year.

The first Ladder match was good while it lasted but I wish they gave it some more time. That said, I wasn't totally crazy about the finish. Sure it was different but still.

That bump Beth took in the Divas match was scary...

The Sheamus/John Morrison match was great. Very entertaining and good story telling. I'd imagine it'll be Morrison/Miz at the Royal Rumble.

The Tables Match was very good. The Eddie Guerrero-esque finish was pretty neat to see, and the restart and conclusion was nicely done.

The TLC Match was very good also. I think it should've been the closer but nevertheless. I sure didn't think Kane would be champion for five months; It may not have been the prettiest of title reigns but he certainly deserved to hold the title once again. Kane's title reign ends at 155 Days.

I would imagine the Cena/Nexus feud is over after last night. We'll see where they end up going with both of them from here.

Overall: B-

On to the 2011, The Royal Rumble and (eventually) WrestleMania
