Brand Extension to end?

Just to vouch for Venis here the reason he hasnt been doing anything is because hes being executive jobber on HEAT. (and i disagree with you about his gimmick BRG I find it funny). But eugene needs a gimmick change... BADLY

I had a good discussion with Trindle on the newsboard a couple weeks ago. I think it'll come to an end sooner than later. With all the budget cutbacks and with the economic downturn, it could happen by 2010. As of right now WWE has roughly 70 to 80 stars on the roster. I think if they cut 15 to 20 more and bring the tag division back into the whole equation, we might see all the talent involved on all the shows. Of course they'd have to shorten up matches and spots on tv too. I believe it'll happen. If conditions continue the down trend as we've seen.

I think we're seeing some now. Hardy getting the title without the build to Mania that alot of people expected is one. I think we might see more off the cuff changes soon too.

I'm bumping this forward to re-open a debate on whether or not the Brand Extensions idea should end. I also have a link I'm gonna post from WrestingNewsWorld about a possibility of the Brands coming to an end. It seems they're speculating that Bragging Rights will have several Title Unification bouts. It was also said in another article that several Raw stars including the Miz are scheduled on upcoming Smackdown events in October, and November. Here's the link:

As I said, it's purely speculation as of now, but it's open for debate. Debate on whether or not the Brand extension will end.

i am not suprised people turned off their tv's when raw was on because it was shit and both brands have become too boring

According to Triple H, The Superstars from both Raw and Smackdown will be working both shows for the forseeable future... In other words, the Brands are finally dead... Now, with the fact that this happened, will both shows get better, or worse? I say better... What's your opinions?

I don't know honestly. Whatever they do, I hope they give everybody a chance to shine with this supershow. We'll see how it goes from here. I really do hope it gets better.

It was probably some time coming, bringing the brands together, since the rosters are apparently shrinking. I hope this works out, i'm looking forward to seeing the two rosters combined.
