Not regularly. I have in the past though.

No.

Seriously, while the death of animals is sad. It's not a tragedy.

No doubt it is not to you or for you. For many people, it is. For people who ride seriously, I think it is particularly so because a horse is more than just a pet. I won't try explain to you, as naturally, you already know much better than everyone else.

Ok, even if we take the life of a horse as equal to the life of a human, it's still not a tragedy. 9/11 was a tragedy. The Haiti earthquake was a tragedy. Two deaths, while sad is not a tragedy.

9/11's not a tragedy. Romeo & Juliet is a tragedy.

Now that I've made a bad joke, we're moving this topic along.

If we take a tragedy to mean a great loss, then it's relative. Losing two horses can be a great loss, if not greater than 9/11, where thousands of people died that you never knew. Millions die every day, hundreds of thousands of which are preventable. Life is a tragedy.

Sorry for your loss TG007.

Agreed. Even a pet dog, or cat can be viewed as part of the family in some cases... Last year we had to have one of our cats put down, which hit my kids pretty hard... It's a loss no matter how you cut it...

Apologies for being away for the time I have been. Blasted trojans attacked my laptop, and I lost everything on it, all my stories, lyrics, pictures, the lot (though luckily a lot of these items are either online, on paper, or on my mp3 in the case of my music). I just got back my laptop today, and the guys at the shop I bought this from kindly installed Windows 7 on it. So i've been both unfortunate and fortunate. So i'm back :smt003 .

(not that anyone cares or anything)
I have been a member here for almost 3 years, and in those three years I have met some interesting people, made a friend in another state, and talked to people in other countries. For the past couple of months wrestling has completely lost my interest and this is the final step, so to speak, in putting that part of my life away. Interests change, and I realized I have only been updating my thread in the "Creations of the Night" section (which currently houses more anime and video game creations than wrestling ones) so I decided that there is no need for me to log in here anymore. With that I say thank you to Dan, the mods, and the graphics staff both old and new and I say good bye to everyone here.

So long nekropunx. You're always welcome back.

I was tempted to say a good bye here as well, but you're not getting rid of me that easily. I'll still be posting here now and again.
