Following on from Raw and SmackDown this past week, after Sheamus's steel pipe attack on Triple H, and as we are all aware of Triple H's fondness of a sledgehammer, perhaps we'll see a "Weapons Match" style Street Fight between these two at Extreme Rules.
If you're gonna gimmick up the World Heavyweight title match then I say a Triple Threat Ladder Match between Swagger, Jericho and Edge would be a good one.
Mask vs. Hair seems the way for Punk vs. Mysterio.
As for the WWE Championship, perhaps Cena vs. Batista in an "I Quit" or Submission Match, after Batista tapping out at WrestleMania, for Batista to quit a second time at Extreme Rules would be rather poetic. I don't think this damages Batista's character too much either, because it's more about playing on his heelish self proclamations of strength and being unbeatable as opposed to simply being portrayed as weak. To avoid the latter, a Last Man Standing Match would be equally doable. However, just thought I'd post this from the PWInsider:
Batista is scheduled to begin filming the WWE Studios film "Killing Karma" in the New Orleans area on 4/13.
Depending on his filming schedule, it will be interesting to see whether Batista is "sidelined" out of action for several months or whether, at least, he is taken out of the WWE Championship picture either before or at Extreme Rules.
On a whim, I'll throw Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase in a Steel Cage Match as a test to whether, in a singles match, DiBiase can escape the vise and venom of The Viper or not.
Erm.....a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match for the Unified Tag Team Championship: ShoMiz vs. MorTruth vs. Hart Dynasty vs. I dunno, name another tag team, Croft & Barreta?
[side note: how many tag teams do we actually have left in WWE?]I'm sure some kind of crappy Handicap Hog Pen Divas Match will get thrown in there.
