Luke wrote:Anyone watch The Big Bang Theory? Very funny for a studio-based US sitcom. I've only seen the first few episodes of Season 4 but I got through Seasons 1 - 3 in the space of a month. My boyfriend Jay is essentially Sheldon, an obsessive compulsive complete sci fi geek with odd social skills (lack of? haha! Bazinga!) and emotional reasoning.
Oh, and on this side of the Atlantic, The Inbetweeners of course - hilarious! I think it's superbly written comedy, albeit cringe-worthy, and the characters are great. I'm looking forward to the film they're making, I hope it's as good as the TV series.

Ed Burns wrote:Bazinga!!! I thought the Bazinga was implied... Sheldon's a trip... I love The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon makes the show. He, and Penny tend to have the best exchanges, even though they're both polar opposites.
What channel's the InBetweeners on? I wonder if it's available on BBCA here in the States... If not, I'll look it up on YouTube.

Haha! *knock knock knock* "Penny...." lol. Got to love Sheldon. Jay and I have decided that when we get a dog, he's going to be called Sheldon, along with our two cats who are going to be called Merlot and Shiraz.
The Inbetweeners is shown on E4 here in the UK which isn't a BBC channel. Us folks in the UK can watch episodes of the three series' of the show online, but I'm not sure whether you guys in the States will be able to, i.e. there might be a "block" on US IPs? Anyway, here are the links to the 3 seasons of the show on 4oD and the official 4oD YouTube channel:

have the most unbelievable on screen chemistry I've seen in years. Richard Castle is a best selling author, whose novels are copied by a serial killer in his murders. Castle is called into help the NYPD in their investigation and he eventually tags along and forms a stormy relationship with Beckett. The show is synonymous with the word 'FRUSTRATING' cos the writers have a habit of teasing the audience by introducing Kate's boyfriend or Castle's ex wife just when they're about to kiss or reveal their feelings for each other..
