So now we know why Sheamus is getting pushed over the moon with Trips at his back the rest will be squashed, now I wont be surprised if he beats Cena.

Well, let's be honest... they have good taste.

I would love to have them to behind me if I was a wrestler.

I'd like to see it. It'd really fuck things up on Raw. Even if a guy who is not as greatly talented as a Trips or a Jericho gets in right away. Just...mix things up!

Even if he is the training partner of Trips, and so on, it breaks up the monotony of Raw. I'd actually like to see him take the strap from Cena. Then Raw'll be alot more unpredictable than Smackdown, which is getting stuck in same old same old mode.(See Taker/Batista)

No disrespect to Shamus, but it seems that it was an odd choice for him to be Number 1 Contender, I haven't seen enough of his matches to accurately gauge whether I like his performances or not but he still kinda strikes me as a lower midcarder.

I'm not really complaining at this point though. I will take him over the monotony of what had become the status quo on RAW for so long this year. I'm still having a lot of trouble buying him as a legitimate threat to Cena though. If he actually captures the WWE Title at TLC he'll be on the right side of the upset of the year by far in my opinion.

It is most probally fake but you never know?

It will be interesting tho. For someone so new just grasping the belt so early will create some buzz. And at this point having Cena as champ is starting to get so old I'd accept Mickie James as the WWE champion.

That'd be kinda hot. This buzz might just be leaked by WWE to get us going and watch the PPV - maybe they're tapping quietly into the anti-Cena element, whether or not he wins or loses.

I'm not anti-Cena I'm anti current Cena. I liked him when he debuted and was a trash talking, white trash. Was fun.

Yeah I know. John Cena, the man, is a skilled wrestler. The character they've foisted on him is very boring. He's a stable commodity the WWE can always rely on for an "X Performance" they can build around. As a result, the character is stagnant, intentionally, with zero evolution or alteration.

WWE needs that though he is like the legs to a table without the legs it isn't a table.

nope, as I see it, WWE (the company) is the table. So Cena is infact one of the legs (or atleast a big part of one)

Well let's hope that in the near future Sheamus becomes one of the legs and brushes Cena away, maybe it will make him (Cena) better. And give him a deserving gimmick.

No, it won't. Cena will be replaced by another similar Cena-style character. The WWE needs someone with the clean-cut image to reach out to the kiddies. The only way that the current John Cena gimmick will become obsolete is if the demographics of the WWE changes back to the 17-35 bracket.

The WWE'll build someone up in the Kiddy/Gimmick mode. I'd like to see them move the demographic back to the 18-35 age level. It doesn't have to be another Attitude Era though. The material can be more intricate, and fresh. Right now the writing is shit. I'd love to see Sheamus get the strap, even for a few weeks to mix things up.
