I have to say that I was a bit dissapointed. I was REALLY hoping it was Kane's mask in the bag. I wonder what is in the cards for this Kane/Mysterio angle. Not to sound cynical, but after all the "crazy" Kane has been, the unveiling was a bit...tame. It didn't leave me breathless, and my question was more of a "huh" than a "holy shit, what the hell is going on here"

I still hope to see more of the "monster", just handing out random ass-kickings.

I was quite disapointed as well. Not to mention rather ticked at the fact that they played us along like it would be something to do with Kane's mask, and as a result (hopefully) a return to the way he used to be with the mask possibly on and a wig until his hair grew out. I am curious where they are going to with this, though I guess. I think, disregarding the actual show, it's because maybe they are still discussing Mysterio's contract like they were reportedly doing a few weeks ago. We'll see what goes on, I guess.

Seeing Rey Mysterio's mask was extremely anti-climatic and leaves one to wonder what exactly does Kane mean when he says :Is he alive or is he Dead ? " because we all know for a fact that Rey is quite well and just out with injury.
I am really interested to see exactly what the WWE not-always-creative 's have planned because currently it looks like they wasted a perfect opportunity to return Kane to his mask or to may to have the person Kane was referring to being Mr Mcmahon leading to it being revealed that it was Kane that tried to take him out which of-course would mean Kane would be in a very good storyline .Instead it currently looks like a Kane-Mysterio feud which is a complete mismatch and should just not happen mainly because Kane needs to feud/wrestle heavyweights and not cruiserweights with whom he can have a barely decent enough match .

Kane doesnt mean anything not long ago he said he knew "he was dead" and then he talks about the man behind mysterios mask is scarred etc etc maybe we get a Mini Kane "Kanesterio" hahaha

PERSONALLY, i thought it was a nice twist, setting up a good feud and it'll be interesting to know what they meant when Kane said "he's dead". Also, it's a good way to use Mysterio in a feud no one's seen before - someone said earlier that "Mysterio's on RAW. Anyone else forgot? Yeh, thought so". Now he's in an interesting storyline - no one's happy.

that was the mask he was wearing in his last appearence on raw. I guess Reys dead, cause Kane said a few week ago, "He's not Alive, He's Dead" Saying it like it had ended, but nope thats not it, WWE always give us the unexpected face it! (when I say rey is dead I mean storyline!)

See, I'm of this opinion. A lot of WWE fans don't seem to like things that are neat twists or original. Myself, when Kane took Rey Mysterio's mask out of the bag, it was a brilliant double-play. Yes, we knew a mask was in the bag, and of course I thought it was Kane's. But wow! What a smart move! It could be the beginning of a good, decent, interesting storyline. Maybe something beyond a pissing contest, a storyline that is actually interesting.

I dont think thats the problem (at least not for me) I know I am severly dissapointed that it was not kane's mask! Why it basicly kills the idea of him putting it back on... which sucks cause he had 90% more charisma at that point. I dont care if he didnt speak, there are plenty of those... actually a bit to many of them flap their gums, quoting the boss on this forum "Shut up and fight"

But it will still be intersting to see what they are doing with this storyline, the matches are probably gonna be great both are awsome wrestlers!

I beg to differ with the notion that I was unhappy with the twist. The twist was just that, a twist. I just didn't like how it played out. Big difference.

Let me make it clear again. The WAY THE STORY WAS DELIVERED was what left me wanting (and not in a good way). Kane is great, and has always been able to pull off the moment. Production of the spot fell a bit short for me.

I agree, if it would be the kanes mask everyone would say "We all knew it was his mask, WWE is not original" and now that WWE gave us a surprise no one is happy.
