I just wanted to share with you all a new band I've come across. Underrated, really good songs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PacTwyoZpU&feature=related

I'm using this song for a project I'm doing in school. Photography/Visual Editing class. I'm using After Effects CS5, Photoshop CS5 as main instruments towards an A.

Never heard of them, but I bookmarked the page so I can play the various songs posted on it. I've been looking for a video link for a band called Voices Of Extreme. The Satellite Radio channel Ink'd played their song called Numb. I like the lead riff in the song. It's a slamming good song. Anybody hear of the Murderdolls? I saw them open up for Zombie/Alice Cooper a few weeks back. They were excellent. they remind me of a more aggressive Motley Crue, when they were hungry.

I just heard of Blue Stahli yesterday. It's actually one person, who's multi-instrumental. I like Murderdolls, really good songs.

Here's a few other Blue Stahli songs if you are interested(my favorites)

Anti You
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PacTwyoZpU

Throw Away
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0y3GmXp7Mo

Coming Undone(KoRn remix) The best remix I've ever personally heard.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvwxfcS-CW0

ULTRAnumb
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=410gedBZsrk&feature=related

He's got a few good instrumental songs as well. Accelerant, Bulletproof, Mystique.

I liked it alot. I bookmarked the original link, and the ones you just posted. Thanks for posting those.

I also just had a listen to seminal thrash masters, Forbiddens' new release entitled, Omega Wave. It harkens back to the style of their early material, like Forbidden Evil. It's not a classic, but it follows other Bay Area bands directions back to the more Thrash oriented, and faster tempo material. I'm liking this CD. I'll be going to see them, and Overkill at Peabody's Down Under. Last time I saw Forbidden, I sat with their lead Guitarist Craig Loccicero for 2 hours before they went on stage, back in 1997 for their Green tour... Cool guy. Great music. Here's hoping the pit at Peabody's has some energy at this show.

Sorry, I posted Anti You twice. The original & the first song. I've never heard of any of the bands you mentioned. I'm on my iPhone right now in school because my teacher is absent. Listen to 'Corner'. I'll post a link when I return home.

Have you ever heard of the Dresden Dolls? Really great music. They've split up now due to getting a divorce or break up. I'm not completely sure if they were married. Listen to 'Girl Anachorism'.

Also, listen to Red. They sound like Breaking Benjamin. The song 'Let Go' is my favorite by them.

I've heard of Red. Their song, 'Let Go" has one of the thickest guitar tones I've ever heard in it. They're an excellent band.

I've never heard of the Dresden Dolls. I'm gonna look them up on Youtube.

EDIT: I looked up the Dresden Dolls and I liked what I heard. Very good.

I also saw this link I'm gonna post on the TV a minute ago.

It's a nice little spoof of the Dos Equix/Most interesting Man In The World Commercials by Five Finger Death Punch.

I liked the video. I'm a huge fan of FFDP. I'm not sure if I've posted this video before. If I have, I'm sorry. It's by the band Scar Symmetry.

Morphogenesis:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuQA37pJs5A
Here's another song by them: Demise of the 5th Sun
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JdD2p-RPv0

Now back to some rock songs. I like this band. They're underrated but have extremely good songs in my opinion. New Found Glory: At Least I'm Known For Something
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTLvk7xbkEU

Now everyone on this forum should know Finger Eleven, considering their song Slow Chemical was used for Kane's theme song for about 6 years. What most people don't know is their brilliant song Stay In Shadow:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVczoqOTFEQ

I'm starting to like unknown artists more than the over worked studio artists now adays.

I love underground artists so much more than the major label artists. I think they're hungrier than the artists that sign the big record deals. They're the ones that have the creative freedom to write the material they want to write on each CD they release. It leads to some big time changes sonically from one CD to the next.

Very good. I'm gonna post some songs from back in the day, that I remixed using a program from Magix. It's weird to hear some of these songs at a faster beat, but with no change in pitch.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVeGJAGQM9k- Hed P.E. Waiting To Die
This one I didn't do, but I like the video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsUzjKuwqvo
Livewire Sped Up by Motley Crue- The first one I fucked with, and made it a lot faster.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nRpG2AYYkc
Louder Than Hell Sped Up by Motley Crue- Another one I fucked with.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ArJJSERax0
Shout At The Devil Retuned By Motley Crue. -- I made this sound like a piss take on the song. Vince Neil sounds like Cookie Monster in the song, and the video features , well, Cookie Monster, looking Satanic.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7_xWK70j84
Motley Crue Red Hot Sped Up- I remixed this song, and sped it up using a program from Virtual DJ.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EK5mbJlWKW4
Hellraiser, by Entombed. I made this video with Picture stills from the movie Hellraiser. I put them up in chronological order of how the movie unfolded.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHb4gs1hwck
Slayer goes to Church. This video's funny as hell.

I almost literally dropped dead laughing at the church video. Nice remixed songs Ed. I've tried to remix songs, they've just epically failed.

Here's some songs I just found a couple of days ago.

Evans Blue - Cold (But I'm Still Here)

10 Years - Wasteland

I figured you'd like the church video. I was cracking up the first time I saw it. It took a while to get the programs down to remix those songs. I'm gonna download some more remix programs where you can seperate the instruments, deepen, and change particular tones. I'd love to fatten up some guitar tones on songs where the guitars sound thin as hell.

They've always put out good material. I would definitely buy it. I'd also like to see them take some chances with their music though. They've never really strayed too far from their original style. It's mass appeal Metal, which is good, but I'd like to see them do something different, and change up some.

Here's something I dug up from the mid 90s, which I've been really listening to alot lately.

I miss this period in time the most for heavy music. This was a time when you could get excited to go, and buy a new release by bands, and didn't have the internet leaking it out 2 months before it comes out.

Disturbed, as great of a band they are don't get me wrong, I just feel like the new album sounds exactly the same as the Indestructible album. My favorite songs by them though; Decadence, Another Way To Die, Asylum, Remember, Hell, The Game, and Glass Shatters(Stone Cold's theme 2000-01).

This is an interesting intro instrumental I found today:
Apostate - Paragraph:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iBC-JkJycg

This one's an old one, but still easily one of my favorites by Alice Cooper;
Gimme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uX5yrqb7a8

Sort of not my style, but I love this singer Tarja(Opera I'm guessing)
I Walk Alone - Tarja:

I really liked the song by Tarja. I like the range of her voice, and the different tempos of the song. Apostate is a great song by Paragraph. I'm gonna download that. What can I say about Alice Cooper that hasn't already been said. His show that came through Youngstown, Ohio was fucking great.

In sticking with the Alice Cooper theme, here's a classic from Alice Cooper:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQE0pfBAYQ8
Welcome To My Nightmare, by Alice Cooper

Here's the song that got me into Metal when I first heard it when I was in first grade, WAAAAYYYY back.... Well... That's not important... Here's Black Sabbath, Symptom Of The Universe.

Ed, you got it mixed up. Apostate is the band, and Paragraph is the song, lol. Anyway, great choices of songs to post, I downloaded the Alice Cooper song. I mean really, it's Alice Cooper, mostly every song he has is a top-notch best.

Here's a nice little song by Dream Theater. Well I lied, the song is about 14 minutes long. You need a really high attention span to listen to the song. The Best of Times:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOr3b17tlKg
An addiction to this song, I found a much better ending version, including Vocals, Piano, and the Guitar Solo. It's a much clear version, more emotional. My personal favorite.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNNRyJFZ9io

Here's another good song by a rising favorite of mine;

Dream Theater's always a good listen. I have a 3 part of a song from a band that is kind of like Dream Theater. It's from a band called Fates Warning. The song clocks in over 23 minutes long, and it's called The Ivory Gate Of Dreams:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeuTS0VHet4 -- Part 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quo409Xu ... re=related -- Part 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IamEL3gg ... re=related -- Part 3

Here's a couple other songs that are very different in sound and style. The first of which is from Bay area Thrash masters, Testament. The song's called Legions Of The Dead:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyyLOmwY ... re=related

Here's 2 songs from Faith No More. The first song's called Mid Life Crisis
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESjyB8EMw4w

The second song's called The Real Thing
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYyK-ZvpR_M

The last song is from Kiss, and it's called Creatures Of The Night

I've heard of Testament. I'm only really a fan of their song 'Songs of Black'. Otherwise, an excellent selection choice Ed. I absolutely love Kiss, their song God Gave Rock & Roll to You is my all time favorite song by them. Anyway here we go:

This is an unknown song by a Progressive Metal band:
Prototype - Seed:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yTQntRcrdhk

This next song is was featured on the new edition of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. Now, I never play Guitar Hero anymore, haven't played since I think the fourth one back in '07. I found this browsing threw some metal songs.
Megadeth - Sudden Death:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TfZHas3MYo

This is a nice metal guitar solo song.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uxcLrfiou4

Now this song I absolutely love. I still remember listening to this as a child.
Lita Ford ft. Ozzy Osbourne - Close My Eyes Forever:

Rusty Cooley's an excellent guitar player. My buddy turned me onto his CDs not too long ago. His playing's wicked. He's rated, I believe, in the top 5 fastest Guitar players on Earth. He can play any style, and you can tell he also has classical training. Definitely a great choice for anyone who wants to listen to some of the best instrumental playing.

Testament's Souls Of Black's a classic. I figured I'd thrown down on the "Supergroup" version with Legions Of the Dead, as Slayers' drummer Dave Lombardo's holding down the drums on that song. I have a few to play here...

Something for the Holidays...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23cjXModWpA
It's a guy named Jon Lajoie. My Tattoo artist sent me this a couple days ago. I laughed my ass off. It's called Cold Blooded Christmas

Here's my favorite band covering one of my favorite songs from my high school days... The band's Machine Head. The song's called Battery from Metallica.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOo_U32qjKE

Here's 2 from my favorite guitar player of all time, the late great Dimebag Darrell. One song's from Anthrax, it's called Inside Out. Darrell Guests on the song, and rips a wicked solo.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A67oFjyv06E

Here's the other song featuring Dime, by Pantera, with one of his greatest solos I've ever heard. The song's called Floods
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nx1nuq1Pt4

Here's one from the first Metal band to feature a twin guitar attack that led to so many Metal bands with dueling guitar playing. The band's called Judas Priest. The song's called Painkiller
