Found a interview of the undertaker I don't remember seeing.
It made me laugh.

I don't know if anybody here has seen these on youtube, but they're called TheJokerBlogs, and they're brilliant. They follow on from Heath Ledger's Joker, and I think this guy is good. Here's the first in the series (though it's actually a reworking of the original one, as there was a copyright issue with the music used, plus it was done to promote TheJokerBlogs as a youtube partner). So here's the first:

Not bad at all. He's got the mannerisms down well. **subscribes to channel**

I have to recommend a YouTube channel called collegehumor. Most of the stuff they produce is really good, but there best work by far is a series called Jake and Amir. Go watch.

I have already subscribed to that channel, Dan. Have to say, they're really funny.

I also have a recommended YouTube channel called 4PlayerPodcast. It's just 4 guys playing games, but best of all, getting scared like hell everytime something pops up on the screen. Hilarious.

These are just two videos, but these aren't from them, these are from sonariofan who took the time to make two video collages of the funniest reactions from 4PlayerPodcast's videos.

well he's only a geography teacher. and when he isnt acting like a madman is actually a pretty good teacher.

And it seems my School attracts the wierdos. Our Head is a pyromaniac (he wanted to make a trail of gunpowder through the science block of my old school and set it off as a demonstration to parents. He also blew up a friend's plimsol as a child). one of my science teachers is the archaetypal mad scientist (though I'm sure every school has a rediculouslyy clever teacher who talks too fast). another who cant remember the names of students he's taught for years. one who's paranoid about practicals. and one who claimed to have an evil twin. And yet the school STILL gets results well above the national average (including a classmate of mine who got 100% on all but one of the chemistry tests (and was taught by the nutty professor ant the paraniod teacher). Sanity in a teacher is overrated.

And for the record Dan, jokes about mental health are never funny.

No, they can be. Just because you find them offensive or unfunny doesn't mean everyone else should. I don't think anything should be off limits from humour. Depending on how you view the evidence most people will run into mental health problems some time in their life. If you can't try and put a positive spin on that, it's a real shame.

Gotta agree with IX here. Bashing on heath problems is disrespectful. Almost doesn't even help.

First of all it's a shame you can't appreciate humour that crosses the line. Some of the greatest comedians to ever live crossed the line in their humour namely George Carlin or Bill Hicks. But in my case I hardly crossed the line...unfortunately. I wasn't making fun of anyone's health problems. I have no knowledge of this man's health - calling somebody mentally ill is the equivalent to calling them mad. Doesn't sound so terrible now does it? My intention was to make a joke about his rap performance, not mock mental illness in general. If you're still offended then tough, everyone is offended by something - so theoretically we can't make a joke about anything. It's all about a person's intention if you ask me.

I agree with Dan, calling someone mentally ill is the same as calling someone an Idoit/wanker ect. Dan wasn't taking a shot at mental illness or anyone with a mental illness. There are many worst things that could have been said and lucky everyone was smart enough not to say them.

Legitimately handicapped people are off limits in any joke or small potshot situation. It's not right. But people who do crazy things like a Courtney Love or Jessica Simpson, who is legitimately stupid in my opinion, are perfect examples of people to take potshots at. They don't have an illness(although Courtney Love might), they do screw up in the public alot, and it's funny as hell.

you raise a good point Dan, however, that does not change the fact that jokes about mental health are almost never funny. Whether lines are crossed or not.

The only thing I would add IX is that it almost never funny to you. They are funny to some of us. As I said before I don't believe anything should be off limits from humour. When you start taping off subjects and classing them as taboo for comedy I usually find people can't discuss the topic freely in any other discourse either.

Don't forget about Amy Winehouse. Woof, what a train wreck. And I thought we Americans were the only ones with a few nutters. :smt014
