I agree with what most of y'all have said, I'm not a fan of there being more than one Hell in a Cell/Elimination Chamber match on the same PPV, I think it dumbs down the extremity of such matches in the sense that Hell in a Cell should be the brutal culmination of a feud. I think these new gimmick PPVs with multiple gimmick match cards cheapen what these matches should be about. Also, quite frankly, watching two or three Elimination Chamber matches on the same show is actually boringly repetitive.
As for the dumbing down of such matches, I partly agree with what Veritas said, these matches shouldn't necessarily have to be about blood in order to be good wrestling matches, however, the fear and brutality of combatting in such deadly, ominous structures does suggest that "there will be blood....." and I don't think there's anything wrong with that, this is professional wrestling after all.
Obviously because of WWE's ever increasing "Entertainment" and PG direction, this somewhat limits the brutality and bleeding allowed. However, considering that wrestling is made up of fighting and occasionally involves such steel cage structures, tables, chairs, ladders, etc, I think the PG dumbing down is silly. There's no problem with WWE wanting to cater to a more "universal" audience (excuse the Universe pun), with a sense of corporate social responsibility, but if parents are prepared to let their young children watch actors/wrestlers fighting on TV where there are displays of physical violence and bad language, albeit "fake", then a bit of blood and brutality should be acceptable.
