Very enjoyable PPV. Best one I've seen in a while.
First off, as I said on Twitter: "KANE IS THE NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!! HELL {BLEEPING} YES!!!!"
Certainly well deserved indeed. It's about time. Wasn't expecting it, but I'm happy about it. Unfortunately, now that I've had some time to rationalize it a bit, I'm afraid that it means what I think it means to which I say come the hell on. Give me a damn break. The feud doesn't really have much juice left. I REALLY, Really hope I'm wrong. We'll see..
Both Ladder Matches were very good and the respective winners were good choices, especially Miz. I'd say the SD one was a little more enjoyable; the tease with the unpopular finish with McIntyre was a nice touch. RAW one wasn't bad either though. Miz's post-match promo was very good.
Swagger/Rey was a pretty good match and it set up for Kane cashing in very nicely. Some might not admit it, but Rey was nothing more than a placeholder champion this time around IMO.
The Steel Cage Match was a bit of a let down early on but it seemed to get good towards the end. Glad to see Sheamus retain the title.
Although the fan in me wanted MITB to stay exclusive to WrestleMania, I think it's here to stay as a PPV. I'd be surprised if it didn't get a decent number in the buy-rate department.
Overall, 8/10. On to SummerSlam, Fella!
