First a little back story. Tessa is a 26 year old photographer for "Get This!" magazine; Her best friend and assistant, Mary is usually by her side, saying what she is thinking but doesn't have the same gift for gab as Mary does. Tessa was just let down (for the thousandth time) by her so called boy friend (Tyler) and is upset. She walks into her home while talking to Mary on her cell phone.
Hey, yea, this time he said 'I have, this--this important thing, you know' in his typical lying voice, what should I do,? Tyler is etting worse, Tessa says while kicking off her shoes and checking mail, while Mary's voice can be heard through the phone, I know he didn't! Mary it isn't that serious. Mary rants and rambles incoherently for moments and Tessa sits the phone on her kitchen counter and grabs some water. Tessa?! Tessa?! Girl I know you are not some where else while I'm this phone, pick up the phone! Tessa laughs and walks to the phone and picks it up again, No I was here, I just was listening, very quietly. Mary scoffs and says well I ordered a pizza and I gave them your address and I'll be there in a few minutes. Tessa sighed and then heard something that sounded like animals in her trash can by her garage door; she stepped out to her drive way and slipped on something and fell hard.
Madame? Madame?.....Tessa awoke slowly to the sound of those words, her eyes focused on this rather tall man with long hair pulled into a pony tail, black pants, and a white shirt with rufflly sleaves. Who are you? Tessa ask, as the man helped her sit up. Just then Mary walks up in concern, girl what you doing on the ground, and who this? The man helps Tessa back to her feet. Fair and graceful Maidens I am Mark, painter for the queen and I prostrate myself, to you in humble gratitude, he says and bows. Mary looks at Tessa and says, He pros --what-- to us?

I like your stories, as do others.
