Another Suggestion i would like to make, is that people are having troubles with the code... I suggest maybe change the code around so that people can see it abit easier, I also think that you should have a voice recorder for the code, so the code can repeat if the person wants to ask for the code if they can't get it right..

How do you know that people are having difficulty seeing the captcha code? LOL.

But you're right it is more difficult to read - the reason being it prevents us getting hit by spam bots. I'll make it easier to read again and see if it allows any more spam bots to sign up.

When I originally tried to register with my phone, I couldn't see the Confirmation Code, as it wouldn't appear. I had to use a computer. I wouldn't mind if it could be formatted to appear on a phone, but, I wouldn't want it to be easily read by a spam bot either...

I suppose mobile users can email me to manually create an account, or find a computer like you did Ed. But this is really an issue for phpBB. They need to implement a mobile friendly captcha system as default. I do not want to mod the forum as it becomes too much of a hassle when upgrading the software.

I had made the captcha system easier to read - but if people are still having difficulties I will yet again alter the settings.

Bots crawl (visit) websites scanning the information on it. Google does this so it can return your information in its search results. A Google Adsense bot relates to their advertising system. Because I have Google ads on the website, the bot will look at what information is on the page and then return relevant Google ads for the user.
