WWE are gonna join VCC and Smackdown together!

(VCC=ECW, I refuse to call the great product ECW because it isnt, it is now a new brand which i call Vince's Created Crap)

Acording to wwe.com Vicky Guerrero and Umagas mate with the long name who I forget Almando somthing are (kayfabe) thinking about having VCC (ecw) matches on smackdown! When I first saw it, I thought wow! How desperate this sorry exuse for a wrestling promotion has become! Legends like Eddie Guerrero and Mr Perfect are proberbly turing in there graves! I would love to here what they think of this product if (I wish) were still alive.

How desperate have they become! WWE are getting the lowest ratings they have ever got in a long time! In the attitude area the ratings were like 8-7! now there like 2-3! What a shocking diffrence 10 years is! Now, out of desperation there gonna join the promotions together, in a desperate hope for ratings. I so hope the ratings get worse! Although they proberbly will! WWE have already experimented with this by makeing the PPV's for all the brands and the ratings still dropped, the same thing is going to happen! Joining 2 crappy brands is not gonna gain ratings! Its gonna make ratings drop more and make the shows more crappy!

The only way it will improve is if they higher the right people, push the right people, make the matches good and have good storylines. Basic ingredients that the WWE need. In the attitude era thats what it was like, every match had a meaning, every thing had a point, there was always a story to tell! Now the rivalries are embarissments! All that happens is the challenger for the world title beat eachother up until the ppv, that isnt a story! Wow I cant wait to see were WWE will be, very, very soon!

or alternatively they can cut their losses with ECW short seieng as its probably going to get canceled when its contract runs out and they need a kayfabe reason why ECW goes byebye (so the 10 yearolds wont hurt their brains).

I agree with Insanity X, they are probably jsut goign to be looking for a kayfabe excuse to can ECW ,it serves no purpose to WWE or to the fans ,it only has one main storyline which revolves around the ECW title ,the roster is very very shallow and the brand only manages to gain one match per ppv and that is only because they have a world title to contest in the ECW title .if it weren't for that they wouldn't be on any ppv at all because there aren't any other rivalries/feuds going on .I think that if they added a sort of shoot element to the brand from the beginning it might have done a bit better .When I say shoot element ,I mean in terms of people not needing to be in a storyline to feud/dislike each other it should have where everyoen hates everyone ,the roster should have been made out to be exactly what the old ecw was ,this group of hardcore ,brutal ,hot-headed extreme guys who would would beat up anyoen that got in their face and didn't need a reason to go after someone . I mean where are the backstage brawls ,the tables and chairs beign broken all over the place,where's all the blood ,the current version of ECW is all nice and polished and "clean" there's no hardcore matches ,hardly any weapons are used ,no backstage brawls ,basically the Extreme has been taken out of Extreme Championship Wrestling because quite frankly there is nothing extreme at all about the brand or the roster . I still harbor belief that its nto too late to change things ,if they get guys like Tommy Dreamer ,Sandman and some of the other "Orignals" to do the running of the brand ,in terms of storylines , matches etc things can look alot better than they currently do adn at least ECW will be able to salvage some dignity .I mean who better to know how to run ECW and make it work than the Originals themselves who worked and helped make ECW into the phenomenon that it was . Sadly this will most certainly never happen unless such a thing as a brain transplant os possible because Vince's ego will never allow him to except that he was wrong and that former non WWE guys can do a better job than his "excellent ,highly qualified " creative team whim were most likely hand picked by himself and a few others .

Joining the brands can have some good things ,for example SD's roster will have more depth ,there'd be great young wrestlers like CM Punk ,John Morrison ,Elijah Burke and Kevin Thorne whom can work well and put out decent enough matches when they have the right opponents .We would have a loaded US title division which Burke ,Thorne etc can be put in allowing current mid-carders like Kane ,finlay ,Matt Hardy and MVP to be moved up to the mainevent scene with them dipping back into the mid card now and then . I would personally love to see Burke and MVP eihter feud or join together in a tag team ,they both are arrogant ,feel they don't need anyone to help them gain success and make good heel characters .

So ,for me ,I say bring on the joining of the brands and put ECW to rest

Comparing what I've seen of the old and new ECWs, it definately isn't what it used to be. It doesn't seem as chaotic and brutal as it once was. I remember seeing a match where an ECW diva went hardcore on an annoying guy with a whistle (can't think of their names right now), whereas now the girls are just for show. Merging the two brands together will benefit the wrestlers of ECW who have the potential to become great wrestlers, otherwise something drastic needs to be done to save ECW from extiction.

This should definitely be nominated for the "Wrestling Understatement of the Year" award, LOL.

Anyway, I rarely watch the WWE's ECW program but, since Vince McMahon has an ego that is twice the size of the state of Texas, it is refreshing to see McMahon swallow his pride for once in his life and admit his failure in reviving the former promotion. Why invest money into a product that has no potential for success in the foresseable future? Just cut your losses--invest your money into something worthwhile--and eliminate the brand entirely.

In response to the possibility of most, if not all, "Extremists" be transferred to Friday Night SmackDown!, I only have a resounding "Hell No!" to offer. Aside from more entertaining characters such as C.M. Punk and Elijah Burke, I am not too keen on mediocre ones such as Big Daddy V, The Boogeyman, etc. ruining my Friday nights on a weekly basis. What with the rumored Undertaker/Big Daddy V program on various wrestling websites, I must say that it's gonna be a long, drawn-out couple of weeks/months for the Creatures of the Night.

and also WWECW is VERY low on wrestlers at the moment. infact there are 12: Tommy Dreamer ('nuff said), CM Punk, John Morrison, Burke, Thorn, Striker (when was the last time he wrestled?), Big Daddy V, the boogyman (and in his case i use the term wrestler VERY loosely), The Miz (see boogeyman), Balls Mahoney, Nunzio, Stevey Richards and Mike Knox (who still has a job?). now i'm sorry but there are companies in the indies with more wrestlers than that and do you really think that you can have a brand with 12 people in it. thats another reason for the ECW/SD marriage.

Well if they did it would be a good idea for many reasons. One would be that smackdown would have a way better roster put together and more people competing for the titles than same old same old. Second it would boost smackdown's rating probley and would put EWC out of it's low rating misery. Another reason would that it would give the ECW stars fresh opponents and the opportunity to get more time off since they would be on a bigger roster and that would also help the smackdown stars that normally work so they cna have time off. Finally i think it would just make more sense because ECW show is nothing but an Extreme Crappy Wrestling show and would give WWE a less embarest view on wrestling.

This might not make much sense but as u cna tell i hate ECW and want it to die!! AGain

I have to agree, I definately hope they just drop the brand all together. They would be able to drasticaly cut they're loses, they would be able to release some of the crappy wrestlers (i.e. The Boogyman, The Miz etc.), then tranfer the rest to Smackdown, which would greatly help the quanity and quality of the two rosters between Raw and SD. Plus, can you imagine an Undertaker/CM Punk feud, or even Kevin Thorn.
