Maryse is very happy that she was released by WWE. She said on her Twitter page that she was celebrating it. At least she's happy... WWE's really to restrictive on the Divas, if what Gail Kim's said is even close to being true...

Gonna wipe the dust off of this thread.

Tyler Reks is gone. He asked for his release so he can be a dad. Any thoughts ?

Me personally, I totally understand and respect his decision. Wrestling on the road, 200 + days a year being away from your family missing out on the good times with your baby. And, they weren't really pushing Reks. They started him off a little strong, then made him a jobber in the end.

I completely respect his decision. Being a Dad is hard... Being a dad while doing over 250 dates per year on the road is impossible. Can you blame him? WWE wasn't really doing anything with him. He's certainly not done in the business. He can set his own schedule now with indie bookings, which he can wrestle quite a few less dates, still make a good living, and be home when he needs to be. I think that's the only scenario where it's a win for the guy getting released. He has his priorities in check.

While I will miss him (I thought he was a good get for wwe), I do believe "dad" trumps "wrestler" any day, or at least should.
For God so LOVED the World that he gave his only begotten son, that who so ever believeth on him shall NOT perish but have EVERLASTING life.
