well,i always liked The Ministry of Darkness era,but i think he shouldnt change his persona……just the new outfit once in awhile,but he definatelly should bring the Ministry back!!!!!

Well, he should change his persona….Deadman is the great persona of him…but come on…the same thing bore anyone..even the Undertaker… Just like 10 year before…. he said that he was taking his deadman persona for too long so he changed to American Badass and turned to fan favorite again… now it is time for him to go back to American Badass

Don’t change the persona per sa, but get out of that attire keep the entrance attire with the hood or the new LOD attire. Change that hybrid entrance theme. New attire=new entrance music. If anything has staled it’s his theme he never kept the same theme for so long without alternation or complete change. Get back to the mind game promos and lightning this creative team today is bullcrap…..

Taker has never changed back to a previous persona so the American Badass won’t happen, and it would be stupid. Inhuman transforming to human to inhuman to human eventually, it would make no sense.

For me personally, Taker shouldn’t change his persona but it’s getting stale so instead, he should just improve his current persona with maybe a new style of playing mind games. I think this would be the smart decision business-wise and it’s good for his character.

I like the current persona it just needs refreshing…few outfit changes, maybe a slight shift on the entrance music (not changing it too much though) and to go back to the story lines and crazy mysterious entrances that sent a shiver down your spine! One example being when he was returning against Mark Henry and each week that video would play but each time adding an extra shot/hint…that was so exciting!

I have said it before and I shall indeed say it again. It is time for the Minister of Darkness, The Personification of Evil to make a grandiose return and lay waste to the WWE Universe. but this is more for a practical reason than anthing else. in late 1999 Undertaker was scheduled to work a massive programme with the Big Show which would have led upto Armageddon of that year and possibly further beyond, but a Groin injury sidlinded him until the following May when he returned at Judgment Day in his Biker persona.
I think that a last gasp for the Lord of Darkness needs to be experienced, casting The Undertaker in a differnt light for the current WWE Universe.

I agree with Alfred, his theme HAS to change. It’s gotten so stale. I think he should change his persona into something new myself, as this version of Taker has gotten stale in my opinion. Now I think it would be cool to have him go to a remix of his attitude theme which would be sick, maybe change his hair color to red or something, wear a modified version of the lod attire like what he had recently, and debut new ring attire. I’m not the biggest fan of the badass by any means but I think it would be sick for Taker to still be on the dark side and ride a bike to the ring with the lights out and the attitude theme blasting..

Yes. Deadman is good, but its time for a change. I’m not talking Lord of Darkness, or Ministry, I’m talking American Bad-Ass and Big Evil. One of those two would really show a change. That way he can talk more, he’ll be more violent and best of all, he’ll be riding that motorcycle down the ramp. KEEP ROLLIN!!!!!

As much as people want one, this won’t happen, I’m almost certain that he’ll keep the Hybrid until he retires. If anything, he will change his tights again, he’ll come out in his hooded vest a little more often and a couple other minor changes, but no major persona change, Sorry folks

I Think the ministry would be great as:

1: the WWE Creative team can create loads of abstract stuff and great entrances, effects e.t.c
2. would explain the NXT Group attacking the whole roster
3. He needs a fresh outlook, the theme he has used since 2004, 6 years. new theme, new costume, new taker needed.
4. but dont let Mr McMahon allow taker to ruin this persona this time!

i believe that WWE can get back some fans that want to watch interesting stiff on Raw and Smackdown and of those that just scream at Johnn Cena every time he appears on the shows

I don’t think the Undertaker needs to change a thing. He may bring in some new attire, but that’s it. Everything else is fine the way it is. This is how the fans (and the kids) identify him, so he will remain as he always has.

One thing is for certain, he is NOT coming back as the American Bad Ass or the Ministry Undertaker. Why would he come back as the ABA? How would WWE explain that? How would the fans react to him ditching the most popular gimmick in the WWE today to become another human wrestler? The Deadman gimmick is what makes him stand out from everyone else in WWE, and he’s not going back to the biker ‘Taker?

And why would he come back as the Ministry ‘Taker? He’s not trying to take over the WWE anymore. What purpose would that serve? He’s fine the way he is right now, and I think he will remain that way until he retires.

Don’t mind too much what persona he uses (which is what I voted), though I feel he’ll return very similar to how he has been the last 4-5 years. However, I would really like if he changed up the entrance music or attire a little.

Yes in a way he should change..but not drastically..i think his entrance should change.. without all the blue bright lights shining on him, it should all go all dark wiv his same music but just have a bright spotlight on him wiv smoke everywhere (like batista) then in the background they should still have the fire flaming up…..or have the entrance the same as now..but when he reaches the ring post, the blue lights should switch off going all dark wiv a spotlight on taker and bring the smoke bak from the ring like 1997-1999 to he shall rise the lights up..

i think yes.. coz wwe is deteriorating the deadman persona now.. they are not making proper usage of it and the storylines are not even worth..i think the undertaker should be back as the american bad ass!! n it will be rockinsum!!

i will say this, htere is a change in the air, now he’s changed his entrance attire and promo attire, but what about how he is with the WWE Universe? to put it plainly what if he turns heel and leads the nexus and they form a new ministry?
he’s took out mcmahon so if he wanted he could get what he wanted in ’99 complete control of the WWE universe

nah, hes fine as he is. and with all this PG rating stuff, he cant change into anything more “hardcore”. and plus, i like this persona, maybe he may change his entrance and in ring attire ( new tights etc. ) but thats proabably as far as it will go.

Oldschool deadman please. Hat and trenchcoat always a winner. Changes kept him fresh but those changes also got stale. The Undertaker is just thst! Occasional outfit/theme music change okay but the core look should remain that of the true Undertaker. Wouldnt mind the original ,90-’93 music to…

i want to see the undertaker return as the oldschool deadman or the american badass, his american badass persona was ruthless, evil, demented, and neat. the old school undertaker presona was errie, awesome, unpredictable, and werid

Changing his persona at this time in his career would not be smart. He has the stigma for dominance and that is what he should keep. He brings and demands by his presents alone respect in some and fear in most. The wrestling world would not like a change from his long career setup. He was bringing back his power and dominace just before this timeout to allow Kane to gain the title. The last time they meet for a big match it was a barn burner. Lets see the Bjg Brother Win Again! If you make any change make him Darker and more sinister to the bad ass he is.
