what a way to start the undertaker/jericho rivalry. undertaker will reign supreme at survivor series.

I don’t understand why Big Show can’t come to Smackdown. Of all the times Jericho shows up on Raw, you’d think Big Show could come on smackdown. I’m curious to what Taker said in his promo.

Taker vs Jericho rivalry has finally kicked off after 10 LONG YEARS ever since Jericho became a part of the WWF/WWE. Jericho and Taker have been in Raw and Smackdown together before, and have had off-ring segments, but it is the first time they lock horns and I am sure it will be THE RIVALRY of 2010!

Perhaps, Vinnie The Mac was right! What starts here will end at Wrestlemania!

dont tell me y2j is goin to end the streak as it does say on the wm26 poster history will be made? i hope in means another soul is taking and in the desert as well would be fitting. at last we are gettin to see what y2j is all abt can he really handle the deadman. i hope taker plays mind games like he did to orton.

Mark: That is probably a fake poster.. I don’t think the WWE is worried about WrestleMania just yet. And I doubt Jericho would end the streak; there is no need for him too this far into his career.

i think he will lose the title in TLC PPV involving him and Jerry then at RR Jerry will again retain the title belt then at NWO same situation will happen again WWE will be not letting UT defending the belt at WM

Indeed it is strange and frustrating that because of health fears that he deadman is wrestling less. If his health really was bad then why would he be wrestling on dark matches. Surely this is the same difference.

I am sure this Taker/Jericho rivalry would involve no threat to Taker’s streak because — the streak is and will be immortal as both a pro-wrestling record as well as a tribute to our Taker.

I meant the beginning of the rivalry between Taker and Jericho which would intensify in the forthcomming PPVs and would end up in a match between Taker and Jericho at Mania.

This Taker/Jericho rivalry is going to be awesome because both men have great skills with mic. I can’t wait for a vintage Jericho “Hypocrite, Parasite” vs an Undertaker “Rest In Peace.”

I can’t wait to see Jericho’s vintage Smirks and Cowardish looks vs Undertaker’s Stares and Throat Slashes!

I read Taker beat CM Punk in a dark match via the tombstone. I feel bad for Punk because he went from world champion to a rivalry with a referee…..poor Punk. He defitnatly does not deserve that.

123kid, Libby didn’t say that Chris Jericho slapped Taker’ . He was just saying that he can’t wait to see Jericho slap Taker’ and then Taker’ attacks him with everything he’s got. So it didn’t happen yet.. and probably won’t happen at all. Learn to read.

Last I read, Chavo is happy with what he is doing right now. I feel Chavo is being underused too since his ECW championship ways, but Punk deserves the push more then Chavo would. Punk draws more then Chavo does.

Okay guys… Undertaker WILL beat Chris Jericho in this rivalry. No actually, Undertaker won’t beat him…. he will DESTROY HIM. CRUSH HIM. MURDER HIM. Theres no way out for Chris Jericho. I mean… he lost to Kofi Kingston… how sad is that… pretty sad if you ask me.

But at Survivor Series, Undertaker is going to be facing a huge challenge because the Big Show will also be there. I still remember… the very first SmackDown after WM 25… it was Undertaker vs Big Show… and Big Show knocked the Undertaker out and when Undertaker regained consciousness, he still wanted to fight. But the announcer said that Undertaker was no longer able to compete. After that, we never saw Undertaker again, until SummerSlam 2009.

I really hope this doesn’t happen to him again. Undertaker is not even at 100% and if he has to take another huge break from wrestling to heal his injuries again, I will be pissed as hell.

I disagree. Nothing can top Taker’s match against Shawn. That match touched on so many emotional elements that no other match would compare to other then what it is. A Taker/Jericho mania match would be awesome, but it wouldn’t compare to how people felt when Taker faught Shawn.

Undertaker didn’t face Big SLow at the SM right after the WM25 by the way-he faced SLow 2 or 3 weeks later if my memory isn’t that bad.

And the reason why ‘Taker had to leave wasn’t the punch of Big SLow, but his real life physical condition. He had injuries that had to be treated, that’s all. And Big SLow is not that terrible to being a huge disadvantage for ‘Taker, especially at this point. If you remember the WM XIX you would know what I mean here.

And about this rivalry-there is no reason for ‘Taker to lose at SS (well actually there are a few reasons but they don’t sound good to me). I believe ‘Taker will have his longer, perhaps longest, reign this time. If WWE dares to let it end or let Y2J spoil it they way Edge did, they are facing a huge lot of audience (true wrestling fans, I mean). But Jericho will definitely do something-hopefully something fun and sensible, because all he is doing at the moment seems old and boring.

This is getting ways too extreme. Firstly I would like to say that Jericho is not a small and untalented wrestler. He is not that small is you remember Steamboat, Beniot, the Guerreroes or Rey etc. He is multitalented and he didn’t hold the IC belts 9 times for no reason.
