Preview:World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker vs. Big Show vs. Chris Jericho (Triple Threat Match)

Although Big Show and Chris Jericho both hold Unified Tag Team Championship gold, they want something more – Undertaker’s World Heavyweight Title.

At WWE Bragging Rights, Big Show started laying the foundation for his quest by turning his back on Team Raw. And although he suffered the wrath of fellow Raw members just a day later (PHOTOS), by Friday Night SmackDown, The World’s Largest Athlete had already secured a signed contract to face The Undertaker at Survivor Series.

On that same edition of SmackDown, Chris Jericho defeated Kane to also qualify to face The Phenom – officially making it a Triple Threat Match.

Since winning the Unified Title at Night of Champions, the tag team champs have been on a roll, tearing through a slew of formidable opponents. But now, they must face not only each other, but their greatest challenge of all – The Demon of Death Valley.

Ever since winning the Heavyweight Title at Hell in a Cell, The Undertaker has showed no signs of letting up. At WWE Bragging Rights, the champion overcame the odds and successfully defended his gold against CM Punk, Batista & Rey Mysterio in a Fatal Four Way Match.

If The Phenom can take on three opponents and win, surely he can do the same against two. But, at 485-plus-pounds, one could argue that Big Show counts as two Superstars.

Can Jericho or Big Show find a way to topple The Undertaker? Or, will The Phenom make his opponents regret even stepping in the ring with him?

I think that he will retain again….:) Go Taker:),after all SS are his debut place….

Undertaker would win for sure! This Survivor Series is going to be two decades of destruction!

I’m not sure where people get 2 decades from. 2010 will be two decades. At this year’s survivor series he will be cebrating his 19th year in the WWE…so he’s almost two decades.

That aside, Undertaker will retain as this will be a way to break up Big Show and Jericho. Taker is involved because it will draw since it is the first time Jericho and Undertaker are facing eachother in a title situation. I’m looking forward to both title matches and whatever survivor series match they come up with. Perhaps team Mysterio vs team Batista?

I totally agree with you. I can’t see Jericho or Show holding both the tag team and WHC championships at the same time. But I too also think it’s away to break up Jerishow much like Rey and Batista at the last PPV.

Actually, I just remembered something. This is just food for thought, but the two times that Big Show won the WWE title it took place at Survivor Series. It certainly adds a little more tension to the situation.

But I think this match is to break up the Jerishow union and intensify the rivalry between Taker and Jericho. I think this is all leading to a Vince Macmahon, Jericho, CM Punk rivalry. With CM Punk sidekicking Mr. Macmahon, with Jericho next to feud with Taker (whenever Shawn Michaels pushes a wrestler, then the wrestlers next feud will be with Taker eg: Orton and Edge) we might also see a BOD vs Corporation rivalry leading to a Taker vs Jericho match at Mania.

But this again is wishful thinking from me. But if it happens it will be great.

of course jerishow (i really like that expression :) ) will regret that they stepped into the ring with Undertaker haha
I’m already looking forward to it and I hope that he’ll retain the title xD
Go Taker, go Taker xD

Well, that’s obvious ‘Taker will retain. The only thing I concern is when the ‘Taker/Punk feud ends. It seems like Punk is hopeless in front of ‘Taker; and the feud might be continued only if Vince puts his hand in this business. But will he guide Punk or Jericho? or maybe both? ‘Taker is being put into a few non-single matches (Fatal four way and now triple threat) already so I still hope that the WM 26 match will be Triple threat + something else ( Casket match would be nice as ‘Taker and Punk and Jericho all like to STOP and PUT others into sleep- Punk’s GTS, Jericho’s WOJ and ‘Taker’s Tombstone). By the way, I’m still hoping a ‘Taker vs DX (or BOD vs DX) Wrestlemania match-who knows, it might happens! I think it might bring a little bit of change if ‘Taker wins the WM with someone else in a Tag team match rather than on his own like usual.

I believe Taker will retain the title and make Slow & Jericho Rest in Peace!

I expect ‘Taker to win this one due to Chris and Show holding the titles.
Or they will lose the unified titles and go after each other most of the match.. Still giving ‘Taker the win.

But my first thought with them having the title in the match; they would lose it that following week on SmackDown or RAW to DX or Shad and JTG

Same idea for the second thought, just pre-survivor series.

Taker’s most likely retaining. This will break Y2J-SLow partnership and set the spark for Mania.

i think undertaker will get destroyed and big show will be the champ.big show is 485 pounds 6ft 11 inches tall and as hard as a rock.chris jericho is stronger ,faster ,,aggressive, energetic than undertaker.undertaker will get beaten up bad. and he might even die out of suffocation from the walls of jericho. he might get beaten up into a bloody heap and get carried out on a stretcher.he is 5 ft 9 and 199 pounds which makes him a tiny cruiserweight. whereas the big show is 7ft 700 pounds of bulldozer and chris jericho is a 6ft 10 inches 315 pounds giant athletic.
