Askmen.com have run down their top ten WWE matches. Undertaker is included in the list three times as follows: vs. Triple H at WrestleMania X7, vs. Shawn Michaels at Badd Blood 1997 and vs. Mankind at King Of The Ring 1998.

Cool all three of those matches were awesome and memorable and it is very nice to see Taker in the list three times this shows how much of a legend he really is.

i can’t believe that Undertaker vs Kurt angle at No way out is not there..

Posted by Dead Man

They named Taker vs mankind hell in the cell at no.3,
but that’s very not true, Taker vs mankind is no.1 in all respects of wrestling!
and there was no mention of rock vs austin, they had 3 matches at different wrestlemanias, they should have put down atleast one of them in the top 10 list!
well whatever, Taker vs mankind hell in the cell is no.1 all the way!

Hogan vs Andre is rated better than Taker vs Mankind? Give me a break! There was not much wrestling skill involved in it compared to the Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels matches – I think it made it to the list only due to the cult Hogan and Andre had at that time.

No matter what, Taker vs Mankind should be # 1. But again, this is some guy’s own feeling. I wish I had a website where I could put my own ratings with justification.

Posted by ministry4life

that list is complete bull, how can andre vs hogan be ahead of mankind vs taker, that match was awsome that should of been number 1 and the real number 1 sucks too boring match, taker should of been number 1, lately he’s been underated to garbage known as john cena, cm punk, tripleh, and dibiasi and i think vince mcmahon is thinking his plans out of his @ss

Before we get the objectivity speech, were any of Cenas’ matches above Takers’? I don’t know why Andre and Hogan was higher, it’s just uninformed opinions as usual.

Posted by Ed Burns

I read the list. They had Steamboat vs Savage at number 1 from Mania 3. I remember this one as it was nearly perfect. Hogan vs Andre over the first and second Cell matches is a farce. Owen vs Bret and Austin vs Bret and Shawn vs Bret should’ve been higher.

Posted by THE DEADMAN RULZ

i agree with Taker himself and state that in terms of matches involving skill, i love Taker vs Bret’s matches the most. anyway, hogan vs andre shouldn’t have come before Taker vs Mankind. if we are truly searching for a number 1 match, then Taker vs Mankind’s should be that 1 as per overall fans’ opinions.

Yes Mayank I agree with you Hogan vs. Andre the Giant was the worst worked match of the year 1987 the only good thing about it was Hogan slamming Andre. In my opinion either Taker vs. Mankind HIAC or Taker vs. HBK HIAC should be no.1 both of them were 5 star matches and both of them are burned as images in my mind to this very day I can never forget about them.

what about undertaker vs batista, ihate batista but that match when it was live was so godamn goog

Posted by Frun

The list seems odd and wrong.

I would put Taker vs Mankind on the first place.

Even with this list, disregarding what I stated above, NO Flair matches? The greatest bla bla ever?

Posted by ancienthordes

i personally dont agree with the list.it should ve been taker vs mankind and we all know why.i think number one list should have been
macho man vs ultimate warrior
heres the review and memory recap for all of us.I dont think mayank sir is gonna agree with me.
anyways here the link

Bret Hart vs Bulldog in 1992 will be one of the greatest matchs for the intercontinental champion of all time.
one of the great match with taker will be vs Kurt Angle at NWO 06,very intense and many move impressionant,Kurt win at the end of the match but taker say” i want an other match with you”.

I would rate that match higher than Hogan vs Andre, though I would put it below Taker vs Mankind :)

I think Taker, Bret and Shawn are the only wrestlers to have their names mentioned 3 times in the list? Not a surprise, though :-)

By the way, I liked Taker vs Kane first inferno match a lot too (remember Taker jumping over the top rope when it was on fire), and Taker vs Batista at Wrestlemania 23 – it had both of them unleashing all wrestling moves in their arsenal. Batista did spears, spine-buster, body slams, clotheslines, belly to belly counter, running power-slam on the announce table, Batista bomb. Taker did the old-school rope-walk, suicide-dive, snake eyes followed by big boot, leg drop off the apron, last ride, choke-slam, tombstone piledriver. That match had everything – compared to that match, somehow any other regular wrestling match (which is not a no-disqualification match) seems to be small.

I agree with u all about taker v.s mankind. another bi match was taker v.s 5 other men in an elimination chamber the batista bomb reversed into the tombstone hehehe.

oops how could i forget that match.but that particular wrestlemania i didnt feel batista was threat nor would have end the takers streak because taker looked in fantastic shape without injuries.

@MAYANK, sir if i was member of askmen.com.i would have have rated the undertaker vs the rock 1999 king of the ring where rock challenged our lord of darkness for wwf championship but lost eventually hehehe.. all hails our mighty satan.
once again i urge deadmaniacs to watch this final clip and celebrate.despite taker being sedated he finally managed to tombstone rock.Perhaps some of you might say interference of triple hhh had caused rock’s opportunity i disagree the sedated piece of cloth was too much for taker.
you guyz decide if it was fair match heheheeh…..
the final clip

Brilliant, what a list! that will be mine too. you have produced an A+ list Ed. i completely agree with you.

I have so many tapes from the ’90s. I forgot matches like the Boiler Room Brawl, First Blood Taker vs Austin, and so on. This list I printed earlier had matches with parts that stood out for me.

Posted by Mayank Shridhar

I cannot even create a list. Every time I try doing that and putting a list, I remember more matches which I missed, and then I keep wondering where to insert them ;-) Anyways, there is only one place which is confirmed – Taker vs Mankind Hell in a Cell at number 1.

Posted by Ed Burns

I had the same problem. I made my list, then I realized there were a few I forgot. I think what I printed is good enough for me.
