At Summerslam Undertaker is good or not and whats the score for Survivor series.
At No Mercy Undertaker is not good,it’s exactly the inverse of Wrestlemania.

Most of the matches were lost due to some kind of interference. Basically, at No Mercy, he sells his opponent to make it look like a good rivalry. This losing streak is not greater than his Wrestlemania winning streak. Eventually all matches are scripted but he doesn’t lose at No Mercy because he’s bad – he loses at it so that he can sell the rivalry. However, he wins at Wrestlemania due to his character and due to his contributions to the business, and because he’s the best.

No way, there is NO compensating or inversing in this. loosing at NM is completely Taker’s choice. he wants to sell his opponents.

yes i agree with Mayank, and he sets up a good and exciting rivalry. The outside interference also remains a major factor. he looses cleanly at least once a year. that is why he is the best.

and i agree with lord mena, the ‘shame’ word should not have been written.

The way this looks to me is, if an opponent wants to face Taker to get over, face him in October. He’ll put you over. Come March, stay away! Your career will DIE! Taker will definitely get over.

At 1999: Austin pinned Triple H not Taker, At 2001: Taker killed Booker T by Last ride at 7 minute mark, At 2002: Lesnar Had a “fluke victory” because Paul heyman interfered in the most of the match, 2003: Taker should have won if mr mc madman dont interfere, 2004: Heidenreich cost Taker wwe championship, 2005: the ortons cheated, 2006: Kennedy bring the chair or title belt to the ring then Taker hit kennedy with one of those things (how the hell kennedy made a 20 minute match with Taker? Even Taker vs Batista at wm 23 only last 15 minutes) 2008: You all know how it happened. Hey dan, where the “You can rate the match” system?

Back to the topic: No mercy is only minor league PPV compare to The others, No mercy only have 3 sell out show: 1999=18107, 2000=14342, 2007=15106. The others only less than 1/2 or 2/3 arena capacity: 2001= 15647, 2002= 9074, 2003= 8500, 2004= 10000, 2005= 5000 or 7000, 2006= 9000, 2008= its no sell out (If its a sell out wwe will tell the attendance, because the rose garden have 20630 capacity)

let us not forget that Taker sells his opponents at NM. Taker allows inferiors and lesser stars to come to the limelight. Taker shoots these mediocre stars to fame at his own expense. that shows what a Great person Taker is. he has a massive heart. What a Man!! he is awesome. whether he is winning or he is loosing, i feel, he is the true Phenom. he doesn’t need to prove himself anymore. he has already done that 100s of times. and also the fact that NM is not as great a PPV as WM. so cheerio!!

I don’t think the colors on his pants have a sort of meaning. I’m probably wrong. I do know that Taker appears at the end of the show and beats Slow to the back.

People, let’s stop babbling about this losing streak. This losing streak deosn’t mean anything compared to Wrestlemania undefeated streak.

Tim – the purple colour has nothing to do with the ministry. The ministry is not being re-formed. It was one of the lowest points of his career because he turned heel, lost fan-following and lost a lot of matches to Stone Cold and Rock during those days.

I don’t have any inside information – I usually predict by what should perhaps be best for the business and for his character from an unbiased point of view, rather than hoping my own choices will come true (if I had things my way, Taker would be back in his 1990-1996 personas with Paul Bearer and would never lose any match). That’s why I predicted that Taker will lose to Big SLow because of his No Mercy record and because Taker never culminates any rivalry so early, in just one match – he always sells the opponent by losing at least one match through interference or cheap shots, and then finally culminates it in style like he did in the case of Edge.

The red colour signified death for Edge when he returned. However, in this persona he keeps changing the colours. We have seen white and purple on them too – I don’t think they represent Smackdown or Raw. The purple on his pants was very different from Smackdown’s blue.

Since there is an immediate rematch now at Cyber, I think Taker will win. If he had to lose, what would be the reason? Taking time off? If that had to happen he would have taken time off now itself and returned at Survivor. The fans have not seen Taker in action reguarly for long. In the last few months after the TLC match, the only 2 matches he has done are Summerslam and No Mercy (which sucked). Did you hear the fan chants for Taker at No Mercy? For sure they want to see him back in form and winning now, so Taker should win the one at Cyber.

this feud are too long,certainely the worst feud with another wrestler,i prefer Taker vs Batista better and spectacular.

I didn’t like Taker vs Edge much either. It was a good story but at the end of the day, Edge just cannot match Taker as a wrestler in the ring, be it in strength or skill. He always had to resort to some kind of cheating or interference/ help from his friends. Batista was better than Edge as an opponent for Taker.

i agree batista was the best of the latest feuds, the only reason big show could win at cyber would be to pro-long this particular fued – i truly hope not.

Taker needs to be fighting wrestlers that can actually wrestle, otherwise his phenominal ability is wasted and fans dont get to see the best of him – perhaps this is the reason the feud with big show was introduced, to ease taker back in to things after his injury without having to perform the amazing stunts he carried off against the likes of batista and edge?

They could prolong it just to swerve everybody. They probably figure that everyone thinks that Taker is going to win and they’ll drag this out til Survivor Series. Remember HHH vs Batista. HHH lost 3 in a row. Everyone thought HHH would win that third match.

Except me, maybe. I knew Batista would retain because he had got a major push. That was the whole idea behind the Evolution tag team. Orton and Batista “evolved” by learning from Flair and HHH, and when they became self-sufficient, they were either kicked out or they left. The best factum in my opinion, due to this theme.

the feud the most long for Taker will be with Mankind started in 1996,finished in 1998 with the famoust Hell in a Cell,maybe ??

The feud with Foley is a classic. The feud with Slow is a travesty.

This feud can’t last that long as SLow is not as good as Foley was as a wrestler. Plus, this is only a filler feud until they set the title scene for Taker.

I agree with the filler part. I think his next couple feuds will be filler.

Until the Royal Rumble, because he is not in title matches on Survivor and Armageddon I guess.

To coin a phrase from Jim Ross, the Royal Rumble is when ‘business will pick up’. That’s when we can focus on a title push.
